Dear friends and family,
For the last couple of years I have been wondering what would it be like going to a place where I could use my skills to make a difference in people’s lives. The answer may be closer than what I thought as I have the opportunity to travel to Camalu Mexico on a mission trip during spring 2018. We leave March 23 and return March 31 God willing.
The town of Camalu is located in Baja California Mexico and is home to over 8500 habitants, many who lack the most basic essentials such as food and water. I am partnering with Fremont Presbyterian Church and raising money for project “2018 Mexico Mission Trip”. Some of the services we will be providing include a free medical clinic including eye glasses, partnering with a local church to support their mission to the town, and working with Eternal Anchor, a school/orphanage for children and adults with special needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve those in dire need, which is a very important goal in my life.
I am nervous because I have never been on a mission trip before, but I am also very excited. The thought of helping those in great need warms my heart and makes me smile. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right. You can use any major credit card and it only takes 30 seconds.
Thank you for joining me!
