Hi Friends and Family, can you believe this is our third year for our run/walk?! Each year we continue to grow and I am excited for this year!
I am partnering with Lymphatic Education & Research Network and raising money for 2019 CO Run/Walk to Fight LE & LD.
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with lymphedema in 2016 as a result of cancer treatment in 2007. Lymphedema is a debilitating disease that has no cure and takes an emotional, and physical toll on all those affected. It is estimated that up to 10 million Americans suffer from lymphedema–more than muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and Parkinson's combined, yet so many people, including medical professionals, do not know much about it. I want to do everything I can to raise awareness and money for research, and find a CURE!
