This is such an important issue for me. I've battled this condition as a side effect of my breast cancer treatment in 2012. I'm one of the lucky ones - I was able to get surgical procedures (after battling my insurance company) to relieve the swelling and the need to wear some sort of compression around the clock. Cancer treatment saved my life, but these surgical procedures for lymphedema gave me my life back. More research is needed and your contributions will help move research forward.
