Friends and Family, lets kick LE's butt!!! Come join me on 10/19 for my 2nd walk with The Lymphatic Education & Research Network to raise money to fight Lymphedema (LE) & Lymphatic Diseases (LD).

Lymphedema is mentally and physically challenging every single day. The worst part is, most people don’t understand it. You can help change that! You can help me and my fellow lymphies with our fight! Every little bit helps, and no donation is too small.

Lets give this disease the attention it deserves!

LE FACTS:

#1: LE is chronic swelling when the lymphatic system is either faulty or damaged.

#2: An estimated 3-5 million Americans suffer from LE- that is more than ALS, Cystic Fibrosis, MS, and Parkinson's combined!!

#3: 2 out 5 breast cancer patients will develop LE withing 5 years of surgery.

#3: Most Physicians in the US cover the lymphatic system for 1 hour or less during 4 years of med school.

#4: There currently is no known cure. let's change that!!!

We're just about a week away, and we're down the homestretch! Keep up the great work, and we can't wait to see you in Riverside Park on October 19th. We strongly suggest taking public transportation since parking is a challenge. There are paid parking lots in the area, but we don't have an arrangement with any of them. We suggest a cell phone parking app, such as Park Whiz, to help you find the best spot.
