Hi Friends and Family,
I am partnering with Tour de Force Bike Ride - I joined the support team in support of my son Mike, Chis Rinaldi, both with the Secaucus PD, and all the other riders who are riding for those that made the ultimate sacrifice, raising money for 2020 Tour de Force Memorial Ride. Both my son Mike and Chris rode last year, and I drove up to Massachusetts to surprise them by playing the bagpipes as they entered the last leg of the ride. When I arrived, the 'Support' team was setting up to feed the hundreds of riders, their support role is a huge and laborious job. I helped set up and feed the masses and decided, I would jump in for the next year's ride. Here I am looking for your support to reach the monetary goal, I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal.
You can give with any major credit card and it only takes 30 seconds. I appreciate it so very much. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right.
Thank you for joining me! Below is the history of the Tour de Force, and with the current environment, unfortunately there are too many line of duty deaths and it is even more important now to raise funding.
The Tour de Force was founded in 2002 as a memorial bicycle ride to honor the victims of 9/11. It has evolved into a four-day, 280 mile ride, in which 300 law enforcement officers from across the U.S. and abroad, along with some family and friends, participate to raise funds for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each participant, support team member and staff, raise funds and put in a lot of work throughout the year to make this event a huge success.
Without the continued support from our generous supporters and their dedication to our cause, this event would not be possible. Thank you for making a special gift, that will enrich the lives of those left behind.
