I am honored to be running the 2021 Virtual Boston Marathon in support of the Boston Bulldogs Running Club. I have been clean and sober for over 15 years and I continue to advocate and support the recovery community. I found the Boston Bulldogs while training for my 2019 Boston Marathon. Finding a running community that supports wellness, recovery and community was a game changer for me.
I didn't officially join the Boston Bulldogs until January of 2020. Over this last year I have grown so much as a runner, leader and friend. After completing my set of Full Circles I became a leadership member and a running coordinator. I cannot imagine my life without the Bulldogs. They have given me more than I could ever give back, but I will continue to grow and learn and give back to the club and members.
Please help me support this club as they have supported me and so many others who have struggled in the face of addiction. I’m asking you for your support as I run the 2021 Boston Marathon to ensure that whenever anyone shows up to run with the Bulldogs the group is there to support them.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey!
