Twelve years ago, I was invited to join a 65-mile mountain bike ride from Flagstaff to (almost) the Grand Canyon and I said "why not?" It turned out to be a life-changing event and not just for me. Since its inception 21 years ago, this event has raised more than $1 million dollars for The Marine League Charities of Northern Arizona (primarily funding the annual "Toys for Tots" program).
