4R_EVAN - Run to Fight Children's Cancer 2018

Let's step up the fight against childhood cancer! Learn More

Welcome to the Run to Fight Children's Cancer 2018!

In the past five years since Evan went home to be with the Lord, more than 9,400 additional children have died from cancer in the U.S.  In other words, 12% of all children diagnosed each year with some form of cancer do NOT survive it.  What can WE do to help?  Come participate with us in the eighth annual Run to Fight Children's Cancer event on March 10, 2018.

Even more, if you can make a financial contribution towards our team's (4R_EVAN) minimum goal of $1000, we would greatly appreciate that.

Join us in stepping up the fight against childhood cancer. All champions are welcome and whether or not you're racing, volunteering, sponsoring or donating, you're part of the community that will bring pediatric cancer to it's knees.

Proceeds directly benefit Children’s Cancer Network and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. With the combined efforts of our partners, families are provided with excellent treatment and care, patient and family education, health and wellness programs, and strength in advocacy. Together, let's make a difference for Arizona families battling childhood cancer!

About Evan Gary:  Though Evan had many creative interests, he had an even bigger heart to see that those around him knew the saving love of Jesus Christ. At the age of 12, Evan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. With his whole family by his side, he sought treatment over a 25-month period at four different internationally known medical institutions across the United States. As he bravely battled cancer in all of these various settings and circumstances, Evan continued to excel in most everything he did while maintaining a positive attitude and an eternal perspective on life. Once a person met Evan, their life was changed forever and for the better. The evening before he passed away at the age of 14, Evan declared, "I'm going to serve Jesus and Him alone. I'm going to focus on what's right. How about you?" So we walk in honor of Evan's life, his faith, and his persistent attitude of never giving up.
