Hi Friends and Family, I am partnering with Liam's Lighthouse Foundation and raising money for 5K to Fight Histio 2020. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal.
As many of you know, my 15 year old son, Jayden, has been battling Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, (LCH), since June of 2013. LCH has done damage to his pituitary gland, his hypothalamus, his GI system, and his skin. It has left him with Endocrine issues; Central Diabetes Insipidus, Central Sleep Apnea, thyroid issues, memory issues, vision issues, and so much more. He has been through over two years of chemo therapy so far but his battle isn’t over. He has an MRI coming up on the 15th to see what’s happening now as he is having some new concerns.

Jayden’s MRI showed new lesions on the nerves in his spine. His doctors are not sure what they are at this point. We will repeat the MRI in three months unless Jayden has any new issues come up.
There is still so much unknown about Histio. This is why funding research is so desperately needed! There has been several times through Jayden’s journey where his doctors were left scratching their heads because they hadn’t seen what he’s experiencing with Histio before. Knowledge is power and can save lives!!
