Greetings to you, my friends and family!
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my AngelRide 2022 fundraising page! This will be the third year that I have participated this very worthy cause as both a cyclist and a volunteer. In supporting AngelRide, you can help make a significant difference in children's lives.
AngelRide, with a 19-year history of raising millions of dollars for children's causes, continues in our fourth year supporting The Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp. At this old-fashioned rustic summer camp children with life-altering burn injuries re-develop and enhance physical skills and build lasting relationships with other burn survivors that will sustain, inspire and empower them in their life's journey. Campers attend free of charge. Counselors and staff are volunteers: firefighters, medical professionals, adult burn survivors. The Children's Burn Camp is life-changing! By making a donation, YOU are joining the AngelRide community in making a difference for these campers and we welcome you!
The ride is returning to an in-person format and will take place on May 28th! I will be participating in the AngelRide CLASSIC and pedal a slightly long metric century (64 miles total). Other cyclists will choose to do a half-metric century and youth may do the Little AngelRide (3 miles) - all three starting and finishing at the Essex Fire Department, Essex, CT. Hopefully, it will be a spectacular day for all, no matter what the weather.
Thank you for your time and financial support for the children!
