Hi Family and Friends, 

We are so proud to once again participate in the Brooklyn Autism Center's Virtual Walk/Run to support James's amazing school. This school gives James so many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities that he loves so much! It is because of your generosity that BAC is able to provide these opportunities for him. For James, BAC has also helped to improve his communication and socialization which has made a huge difference to our family. We are so lucky to have a school like BAC.

James has a diagnosis of non verbal Autism which came with a lot of fear and worry. We did not know what the future was going to bring and in some ways we still don't. What we do know, is that he is one of the hardest workers out there, and has climbed mountains to overcome many obstacles. Although he is non-verbal, he is communicating to us more and more each day. When we think about all of the progress he has made, it brings on so much joy. James's smile is infectious and he will light up any room. His laughter will melt your heart and his hugs will always make you feel better. We are the lucky ones!
