Hello Friends and Family, 

Recently a close friend of my families, Bruce Leopold, passed due to cancer. Bruce was an enthused cyclist and an overall amazing person. Ray Porter was a cycling buddy of mine in Texas and an insanely strong rider who passed away in 2013. If you didn't know him, he is second to the right in the picture of four of us. In honor of the two of them, I am partnering with Big Pig Cancer Foundation and raising money for the Ray Porter Memorial 6 Hour Cancer Benefit Race. I will be racing the solo 6 hour singlespeed category (which is what Ray rode). This race has been raising money to support people and their families affected by cancer for five years now. Update 1/12: This has been online for about 24 hours and I have almost hit my goal of $1000 so I am upping it - 2500 is what I'm shooting for now!
