Biolathon is Biola University’s first annual dance marathon. The concept resembles a running marathon, however, rather than running for an extended distance, students commit to dancing for an extended period of time.
This year’s event will last 12 hours and will take place on May 6th, 2017. There will be DJs, performances, games, guest speakers from our sponsored cause, and smaller dance/fitness workshops.
To be sponsored as a ‘dancer,’ each participant will commit to an individual fundraising goal. Dancers will achieve their financial goal by reaching out to friends and family members. The purpose of Biolathon is to raise money for gang intervention and after school programs by sponsoring two non-profits: Homeboy Industries and In The City.
