Your tax deductible donation will stay in San Diego, to provide training and counseling to blind and vision-impaired (BVI) adults in the region. Each dollar will enable more BVI people to enjoy the simple pleasures of riding a bike. You can help build independence in living, and also foster team relationships in sport!
For this year's 15th Annual Cycling for Sight tandem bicycle ride, Brian Connors will be the captain and Adam Zwolinski will be the stoker. Adam is a blind cyclist who lost his vision 12 years ago to diabetic retinopathy. Since then, Adam has undergone 25 eye surgeries to save his vision but unfortunately none were successful. He is completely blind. Following these surgeries and battling through the challenges associated with blindness, life seemed to stop for Adam. However, through the Blind Stokers Cycling Club (blindstokersclub.org), he discovered new found freedom in cycling that has fostered lifelong relationships with both captains and stokers. The San Diego Center for the Blind also played an integral role in helping Adam with the challenges related with blindness, and he is a proud alumnus of SDCB. Without these organizations, Adam does not know where he would be today. He would like to thank these organizations for enriching his life. Please donate to help provide training and counseling to BVI adults in the region.

So glad you are both doing CFS. It's going to be a fun weekend, Brian, I guess you have probably already experienced Adam's silly side. Consider yourself warned.
