Hi Friends and Family,
I am never going to stop partnering with the San Diego Center for the Blind by raising money for Cycling for Sight. What kind of a founder would I be if I stopped?
Have you ever made dinner with your eyes closed? Eaten spaghetti? Taken the bus across town? Even just walked across the street? Waterskiied? Golfed? Ridden your bike downhill at 50 mph? Become an Ironman?
I ate dinner once with my eyes blindfolded; One time. What a mess. I looked like a Jackson Pollock painting afterwards.
I ride my bike with an amazing group of cyclists who do all of the above except have trouble eating. Their vision has opened mine. Their friendship has enriched my life. That’s why I do this. “Get past yourself, get passed on wheels, get gassed on Life!”
I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right.
You can give with any major credit card and it only takes 30 seconds. I appreciate it so very much.
Thank you for joining me!
Your tax deductible donation will stay in San Diego, to provide training and counseling to blind and vision-impaired adults in the region. A portion of each dollar will enable more BVI people to enjoy the simple pleasures of riding a bike. You can help build independence in living, and also foster team relationships in sport.

David, Wish I could join you all, but it looks like I will be in Japan during the ride. So I send my good wishes in advance. "Tabi no dōchū okiwotsukete"
