The Blind Stokers Club (BSC) and San Diego Center for the Blind (SDCB) are excited to host the 20th Cycling for Sight (CFS) on the beautiful campus of the University of San Diego (USD).
I’m incredibly grateful to be one of the founders of CFS. The friendships and exercise have been life-enhancing for me. Even more grateful and humbled to have received your support over the past twenty years. However, I’m most grateful for the good fortune of having the love and support of my family/friends AND for surviving a devastating heart attack (2013) and spinal cord injury (2018) that have truly rendered me a challenged athlete. I’ve been a tandem Captain, solo rider on bicycles, and now, solo rider on a recumbent tricycle. It’s all about adapting and living life to our fullest ability. See attached photos to capture a glimpse of the magic over the past twenty years.
Your tax deductible donation will provide training and counseling to blind and vision-impaired adults. Your gift helps build independence in living, fosters team relationships in sport, and enables folks who can not pilot a bicycle alone to enjoy the simple pleasure of cycling. “Win-Win!”
