The Youth Mission walk funds will be used to create and support an active youth group that is open to not just the youth of Bayport Methodist Church but the Bayport/Blue Point community. The Church wants to host events in the Church that are youth friendly for the community with no cost to youth. The funds will also financially support youth in need to attend youth events outside of the Church such as retreats, mission trips, UM Army etc so finances will never prevent any youth from attending. The goal in attending these events will prepare the Bayport youth to become future leaders both inside the Church and out in the community. This will also allow them to not only contribute to their church family but be on mission to the community to bring other youth to Christ and Bayport Church.
