"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence."

Pono Construction is proud to continue our partnership with Grand Canyon University Foundation for the seventh annual Run to Fight Children’s Cancer! As Grand Presenting Sponsor of this race, we've already laced up our shoes and invite you to do the same and join us Saturday, March 10, 2018!
From day one, Pono Construction has supported this fun-filled event held on GCU's main campus, and we've welcomed the support and participation of our many friends and colleagues. We value each of our industry partners as team members whose input is integral to the success of every project. Run to Fight offers the opportunity to partner in a critical way, on behalf of Arizona's littlest cancer-fighting superheroes, at this 10K run, 5K run/walk, and inspiring quarter-mile Cancer Survivors Walk.
Together, we'll honor the children and families who are with us and those in whose memory we gather. You're also invited to visit our VIP tent for refreshments, while enjoying the post-race festival that includes a vendor expo, arts and crafts, music, inflatables and much more!
Pono Construction has been building GCU since 1986 - please join us as we build a future that no longer includes the words childhood cancer. Whether as a race participant or by donating to our fundraising team, you'll be part of a Pono Construction project that will last a lifetime.
Since 2011, Grand Canyon University Foundation, Children’s Cancer Network, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital have raised over $500,000 to help in the fight against childhood cancer. Proceeds from the race directly benefit Children’s Cancer Network and Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. The combined efforts of our partners provide families with excellent treatment and care, patient and family education, health and wellness programs, and advocacy. With less than 5% government funding for childhood cancer, we need YOU to join the fight! Together, let's step up the fight against childhood cancer!
