2019 Women Build

The Women of West Market Church are joining forces with other Greensboro women for the Women Build 2019! Our Site Work Dates are May 11, June 15, and August 10!  For those who would like to work on the site, we will work under the guidance of construction professionals and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you're learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved.

Other ways to participate include bringing breakfast to the site and praying for good weather!

The West Market Women had a wonderful day this past Saturday June 15! We tackled vinyl siding. The weather was great- low humidity and sunshine. We were supposed to be the 4th crew on Vinyl siding, but the siding had been delayed so we ended up being the first crew.  We ran siding all around the house up to even with the tops of the windows (about 7 feet up). Most of us felt like we could have accomplished even more than we did!  Great day!

Hello Everyone!

The Women of West Market had a wonderful day yesterday at the Build Site.  We were fortunate that the rain held off until after 2pm.  We framed interior walls and put exterior wall sheathing on almost the entire exterior!!  We did not let a little bit of drizzle after lunch stop us, either!

Thank you all so very much for your generosity and support!  Our next scheduled build day is Saturday June 15.
