About Us
Mission: The National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association, together with its state and local member programs, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in the United States can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.
The House Party:
We are so close to paying off the mortgage, WHY NOT give you the opportunity to enjoy it with US! We only need a small amount of $19,718 to get this party started! This will allow us to immediately allocate those funds back to the CASA child.
HOW?
CASA CIS is the largest program in Virginia serving 400 to 500 CASA cases each year, we never turn a case given to us away. This requires staffing that take great care of our volunteers, who are sworn in by our local Judges to become a mandated reporter for the child. Each volunteer may have only have two cases at one time, so do the math. That is a lot of volunteers stepping up to take care of this amazing community! For every 35 volunteers, there must be a staff supervisor to assist with reporting, training, and care for the CASA kid. So we really, really, really need to maintain our AMAZING TEAM in order to take every CASA case.
