Hi Friends and Family, 

It's that time of year again...but oh, how times have changed... 

With orders to stay at home, VOX Femina's bike-athon has morphed into an anything-goes-athon, and I'm giving myself a 20-mile challenge, via elliptical machine and walking my dog Bailey, by May 5th! I know that you are hearing from lots of nonprofits during these challenging times, but I hope that you will consider sponsoring my participation in this year's Song Cycle with a donation of any amount, to help me reach my personal goal of $2000. 

Your donation will help VOX weather this crazy time, and will help pave the way for our programming to resume next season, including our important work with public school children. Part of my mandate when hired as VOX's first Executive Director was to bring my years of arts education experience to the organization by developing a strong Youth Outreach program. Since launching the program in the fall of 2016, I am proud to report that VOX has served over 3000 students in schools in underserved communities throughout Los Angeles with a three-tiered music program! (Learn more here.) We're looking forward to getting back on track with these programs during the 2020-2021 school year, but we need your help to make sure we have the funding to do so!

Vox Femina Los Angeles gives women voice through the performance of quality choral literature. Diverse in culture, age, race, belief and sexual identity, VOX is a chorus committed to commissioning new works and raising awareness about issues that affect us as a family of women. Through music, we aim to create a world that affirms the worth and dignity of every person.
