Hi Friends and Family, I am partnering with Postpartum Resource Center of New York, Inc. and raising money for 16th Annual Sounds of Silence 5k/10k Run/Walk. 

As many of you may know my dance teacher, Andrea Kolbe, died by suicide as a direct result of postpartum depression this past December. Her loss has left a hole not only in my heart but in the hearts of everyone she has touched. She had the biggest heart which was only surpassed by the size of her laugh. She was so much fun to be around, to collaborate with and dance with. I will miss her forever. 

After her death I have learned more about postpartum depression and about how hard it can be to diagnose someone with postpartum depression, treat them for this illness and help them to survive. I am walking and raising money in the 16th Annual Sounds of Silence 5k so that I can do something to help someone else who may be struggling. I can't bring Miss Andrea back but maybe together we can save someone else. Please consider donating to join me in this fight!
